Small company with one director.

This distribution company operates a warehouse but has limited office facilities.  The accounting records for the company are maintained jointly by the company’s director and Accounts Department Online using the cloud based Sage accounting system including stock management.

  • The client enters all sales and purchase invoices on to the Sage system
  • The client regularly provides ADO with details of all sales receipts and ADO enters this information on to Sage
  • ADO performs a monthly reconciliation of the sales ledger with the client’s factor’s ledger
  • On a monthly basis ADO enters all banking transactions on to Sage, including foreign currency transactions.  Any queries are raised with the director and dealt with accordingly
  • The bank accounts are reconciled to statements
  • Any necessary journals are entered on to Sage by ADO
  • Payroll and VAT returns are all dealt with by ADO
  • The client can log on to Sage at any time to access management reports and analysis
  • ADO also provides a credit control service chasing outstanding debtors by phone and email as agreed with the director
  • The client uses office facilities at ADO’s premises for meetings as and when required
